21st – 23rd May at Emerson College and/or via Zoom

We warmly invite anyone connected with the medical-therapeutic movement (including social therapy) to join us at this year’s conference, which we are particularly looking forward to after last year’s cancellation. We are glad to announce that Dr Matthias Girke, Leader of the Medical Section at the Goetheanum, will be joining us again. Together we will consider themes such as self-development, social responsibility and the heart as well as viral illnesses, vaccination and the immune system.

We will also confirm and welcome the new Coordinator for the Medical Section in the UK, whom the Section Council is currently in the final stages of identifying. The Coordinator will introduce him/herself and present their vision for the Section and its work in the UK.

If it is possible to hold the Conference in person, it will be likely that, due to social distancing rules, the number of people Emerson may host will be limited. We are therefore planning for a hybrid in-person and zoom event. Should we not be able to meet in person at all, the whole conference will move on line.

Further details, including cost and registration, will be available from mid-March.
